# Developer Tooling

> CLIs, agent resources, schemas, OpenAPI, Pkl, and explicit personal configuration.

Developer Tooling supplies procedures for tools and external contracts.
Use it for a requested CLI, schema, agent resource, or configuration change.
Personal configuration changes need their own authorization.

## Skills

| Skill | Purpose |
| - | - |
| `cli-creator` | Define command contracts, JSON output, and explicit writes. |
| `manage-json-schemas` | Author and examine JSON Schema contracts and examples. |
| `openapi-contract-authoring` | Author and review OpenAPI operations and component schemas. |
| `pkl-engineering` | Implement typed Pkl contracts, evaluation, and package behavior. |
| `plugin-composition-authoring` | Compose plugin manifests from canonical references. |
| `skill-primitive-authoring` | Create or revise reusable skills and agent profiles. |
| `python-tooling` | Author typed, locked uv automation. |
| `personal-setup-management` | Change personal setup through its current source and installer. |

## Other resources

The plugin supplies `openapi-contract-rater` and `schema-type-enforcer` agent definitions.
An agent definition does not itself start delegated work.

Python Tooling uses the same authored skill as Software Engineering.
The plugin adds no automatic hooks.
Source checks and skill-read policy need an explicit composition.

The [plugin manifest](https://github.com/amichne/slopsentral/blob/main/source/plugins/developer-tooling/plugin.json) owns the resource list.
The [architecture](/reference/architecture) explains canonical ownership.
