A plugin is absent
Examine the marketplace and installed plugin inventory with the installation commands. The provider source must match its published branch. Codex usesharness/codex.
GitHub Copilot uses harness/github-copilot.
If the plugin name comes from an older catalog, consult the migration map.
A retired name does not prove that the current plugin failed.
A skill does not run
State the concrete task and the skill when explicit selection matters. Start a fresh session after installation changes. Examine whether the host enabled the plugin. Do not infer skill consumption from installed files alone. The plugin reference lists the procedures that each plugin supplies.A hook produces no result
Examine the selected plugin’s hook declaration and the host’s trust state. Developer Tooling and IntelliJ Plugin Development add no automatic hooks. No shipped plugin selects the standalone source-graph, Pkl, API-context, or required-skill-read hooks. A hook adapter result proves its output. It does not prove that a host delivered the event or consumed the output. The architecture names these owners.Vale rejects an assessment
Use Vale 3.24.0 with the bundled assessment script. A newer executable does not supply the pinned engine. Examine the report’s failure and stage. If the glossary is absent, keep theINCOMPLETE result explicit.
If terminology is outside the glossary scope, do not claim a terminology assessment for that artifact.
Use the prose procedure for installation and report meanings.
Projection fails
Use Pkl 0.32.0 and a fresh output path outside the checkout. Projection rejects an existing tree. It does not download a missing runtime. Examine thePROJECTION_REJECTED stage and code.
Use the projection procedure for the pinned setup and supported providers.
